# Connect an AI

> Let Claude, ChatGPT and other AIs read your wallets and make moves, only as far as you let them.

### AI access

*MCP, off until you connect one*

Once connected, an AI can list your wallets and what they hold, read Activity, find a coin and, if you allow it, make moves.

| | |
|---|---|
| Works with | Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor |
| Speaks | MCP, the standard way AIs use tools |
| Moves | Off, ask me, or on its own up to an amount |
| Decided in | Your browser |

## Connect in one paste

Open **AI** in Raven, pick your AI and press its button. Or set it up from here:

#### Claude

```
https://app.ravenwallet.pro/mcp
```

Paste it in Claude: **Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector**. Then press Connect.

#### ChatGPT

```
https://app.ravenwallet.pro/mcp
```

Paste it in ChatGPT: **Settings, Apps and Connectors, Create**. Developer mode has to be on.

#### Claude Code

```
claude mcp add --transport http raven https://app.ravenwallet.pro/mcp
```

Paste it in a terminal, then type `/mcp` in Claude Code, pick raven and press Authenticate.

#### Cursor

```
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "raven": { "url": "https://app.ravenwallet.pro/mcp" }
  }
}
```

Add it to Cursor’s `mcp.json`, or press **Add to Cursor** on Raven’s AI page.

## Saying yes

1. **Your AI sends you to Raven’s Connect page.** It shows who is asking, from where, which Raven account, and **read and write** or **read only**.
2. **Say yes.** With your password, or Face ID or Windows Hello.
3. **Watch it work.** The AI page turns into that AI’s log as soon as it connects.

## How an AI’s ask is decided

- Your AI (asks for a move) → ask → Raven’s server (passes it on) → ask → AI rules (in your browser) → allowed → Key worker (plans and signs)

An AI never talks to your keys. Raven has to be open somewhere for an AI’s move to run.

What it can do: list wallets and what they hold, read Activity, find a coin and, if you allow them, send, split, consolidate, swap, clean up, make new wallets and rename them.

## What the server sees

To answer an AI, Raven shares your wallet list with the server: names, addresses and folders, never keys. A wallet you hide from every AI is left out.

## Under the hood

- **MCP over HTTP**: Raven speaks the Model Context Protocol at one address. An AI signs in to it the standard way (OAuth), which is what the Connect page is.
- **Decided next to the keys**: Each ask is handed to your open Raven and decided in your browser by your rules: run it, ask you, or refuse it. The server only carries it.
- **Every move still checked**: A move an AI asks for gets the same review, test run and checks as one you make yourself.
- **Cut off at once**: Cutting an AI off ends its sign-in straight away, on every device.
