### Daily limits

*Per wallet, over a rolling 24 hours*

A wallet with a limit cannot send more than that to outside addresses in any 24 hours without your password typed again.

## Set a limit

1. **Open a wallet’s menu, then Daily limit.**
2. **Pick a preset or type an amount.** Lowering a limit saves straight away; raising or removing it takes your password.

## Under the hood

- **Checked before signing**: The limit is checked in your browser before anything signs, against what that wallet sent outside in the last 24 hours. A coin with no price cannot be counted, so a limit treats it as over.
- **Why the password**: A limit is there for the moment someone else has your unlocked Raven. Asking for the password again is what stops them.
