The best Solana wallets in 2026, by what you need

There is no single best Solana wallet. Phantom is the best all-rounder, Solflare is best for Solana-only users with a hardware wallet, Backpack and Jupiter Mobile cost least to swap, and a wallet manager such as Raven is for people who run many wallets.

Phantom: best all-rounder

Phantom is where most people start, for good reason: it is easy, it covers Solana, Ethereum, Base, Polygon, BNB Chain, Bitcoin and more, and it puts swaps, perps, staking and a cash account in one app. The cost is its 0.85% swap fee, the highest of the big wallets. See Phantom fees explained.

Solflare: best for Solana-only and hardware wallets

Solflare stays on Solana, supports both Ledger and Keystone, has native staking built in, and adds no swap fee of its own on top of Jupiter’s routing. If you only use Solana and care most about where your keys live, it is the one to try.

Backpack and Jupiter Mobile: lowest swap fees

Backpack charges nothing on swaps and bridges since March 2026 and covers about 15 networks. Jupiter Mobile, from the team behind Solana’s main swap aggregator, charges nothing on stablecoin to stablecoin swaps, 0.1% on SOL and big coins and 0.2% on most other pairs. If you swap every day, these save the most.

Raven: best for many wallets

Raven is not a replacement for your everyday wallet; it is for the wallets you run in bulk. Every wallet sits in one list with folders, and moves work on many at once: Split one wallet into up to 20, Consolidate many into one, Swap from many, Clean up dust and rent across all of them. It also sends privately through three routes (an exchange pays, through Monero, or the Privacy Cash pool), and lets an AI act within limits you set. Raven is invite only for now, with a waitlist.

A hardware wallet: best for savings

For money you rarely move, a hardware wallet keeps the key on a device that signs only when you press its buttons. Use it through Solflare or Phantom. Keep a separate everyday wallet for apps and new sites, so your savings never sign anything risky.

How to choose

  • Count your wallets. One or two: any of the big wallets. Ten or more: you want folders and bulk moves.
  • Count your swaps. Daily swappers save hundreds to thousands of dollars a year at 0% to 0.4% instead of 0.85%.
  • Decide where the keys live. Your device, a hardware wallet, or both.
  • Keep risk apart. Savings in one place, everyday use in another, experiments in throwaway wallets.

Questions

What is the safest Solana wallet?

A hardware wallet used through Solflare or Phantom, for money you keep. Safety is more about habits than apps: separate wallets for new sites, and reading what you sign.

What is the best Solana wallet for trading memecoins?

Fast trading terminals such as Axiom and Photon charge about 1% a trade for speed. For holding and moving what you trade, a low-fee wallet or a wallet manager costs less.

Can I use more than one wallet app?

Yes. The same recovery phrase works in any of them, so many people keep one app for everyday use and another for bulk work.
