How to export your BullX wallet's private key
BullX NEO’s own docs say it gives you a wallet’s private key one time only, and cannot recover it later. Download it as soon as you make the wallet, import it into a standard wallet such as Phantom, and from then on that wallet can show the key again whenever you need it.
The short answer
BullX hands you the private key once. Its Private Keys page says: “BullX will only provide you with your private keys one time and cannot recover them for you in the future.” Its Wallet Manager page adds: “Any time you make a new wallet, you should download the keys immediately and save them in a secure place.”
So exporting a BullX wallet really means two things:
- Download the key when BullX offers it, right after the wallet is made.
- Import it into a standard wallet such as Phantom, Solflare or Rabby, which BullX itself recommends, so you can reach your funds “under any circumstance.”
BullX’s docs do not describe a settings page that shows a key again later, and they do not give a time limit. Treat the first time you see the key as the only time.
How BullX wallets work
You sign in to BullX NEO through Telegram. Its Getting Started page says to open the official site, neo.bullx.io, pick Connect Telegram, then press Start and Login in the BullX NEO bot. Only use that address. BullX’s own security page says to “only use official BullX URLs to avoid scams and phishing attacks.”
Inside BullX there can be several kinds of wallet:
| Wallet | Where it came from | Where to get its key |
|---|---|---|
| A wallet BullX made for you | New +, then Wallet, in the Wallet Manager | The one download BullX offers when it is made |
| A wallet you imported | You pasted a key you already had | Wherever that key came from in the first place |
| An archived wallet | One you moved to the Archived folder | Same as above; archiving does not change the key |
If you brought a wallet into BullX by importing its key, BullX never made that key. Get it from the app or paper you copied it from.
Step 1: download the key in BullX
- Open neo.bullx.io and log in through the BullX NEO Telegram bot.
- Go to the Wallet Manager. To make a wallet, open New + and choose Wallet.
- When BullX shows the private key, download or copy it straight away.
- Keep it offline. BullX recommends “a physical copy”, or a password manager with secure notes if it has to be on a device.
Do this with nobody watching your screen. A private key is a long string of letters and numbers, so check each character if you write it out by hand.
Step 2: import it into Phantom
Phantom’s help centre gives these steps for a private key:
- Phone: on the welcome screen, tap More Options, then Import Private Key. Pick the network, paste the key and tap Import.
- Browser extension: click the Phantom icon, then I Already Have a Wallet, then Import Private Key. Name the account, pick the network, paste the key, click Import and set a password for this device.
Pick Solana as the network. Get Phantom only from phantom.com or your phone’s official app store. If an app rejects the key because it wants another form, such as a byte array, see turn a Solana private key into the form you need.
Step 3: show the key again from Phantom
Once the BullX wallet is in Phantom, this is your export button from now on:
| Where | Steps |
|---|---|
| Phone | Profile avatar, Settings, Manage Accounts, the three dots next to the account, Show Private Key, pick a network |
| Browser extension | Profile avatar, Settings (the gear), Manage Accounts, the account, Show Private Key, pick a network |
Phantom notes that wallets imported by private key “don’t sync automatically, and the private key is only visible on the device where you imported it.” To use the wallet on a second device, import the key there too. For the import errors people hit, see import and export Phantom private keys.
If you never saved the key
BullX says plainly it cannot give the key back. If you can still log in, move your funds to a wallet whose key you hold:
- Add a withdrawal wallet in BullX, such as your Phantom address. If you turned on 2FA, BullX asks for your code first.
- Withdraw to it. BullX says that once it is added, “you can withdraw from your wallets to your withdrawal wallet at any time.”
- Trade on from a new BullX wallet, and download its key the moment it appears.
Two warnings. BullX’s security page says that if you lose your 2FA code, “you wont be able to recover your account.” Set it up, and keep its backup as carefully as the key. And if anyone offers to “recover” your BullX key, it is a scam. Nobody can rebuild a lost private key.
Keep it safe
- The key is the wallet. Phantom puts it this way: “Anyone with access to either has full control of your wallet.” Nobody can undo a transfer made with it.
- Never share it. Phantom says its support “will never ask for your recovery phrase or private key.” No real support person for any app needs it.
- Type it only into the wallet you are moving to, opened from its official address or app store, never into a site you reached from a link, a DM or a search ad.
- Protect Telegram too. BullX logs you in through Telegram, and its security page tells you to turn on Telegram’s Two-Step Verification.

If you trade from many wallets
BullX wallets, Photon wallets and a few burner keys add up fast. Raven Wallet is a Solana wallet manager that holds many wallets in one place. You can bring wallets in with a private key or a seed phrase, and a picker shows what each account holds before you add it. Keys are locked in your browser with your password, and Raven’s server keeps only that locked copy. Raven is invite only for now: join the waitlist. More in about Raven.
Questions
Can I see my BullX private key again later?
BullX’s docs say it gives you the key one time and cannot recover it. If you imported the key into Phantom, Phantom can show it any time.
Can I import a wallet I already own into BullX?
Yes. BullX’s Wallet Manager page says you can import a private key you already own and trade with it. Keep your own copy of that key.
I lost my BullX key. Is my money gone?
Not if you can still log in. Add a withdrawal wallet you control, withdraw to it, and keep using wallets whose keys you have saved.
Does archiving a BullX wallet delete it?
No. BullX’s docs say archived wallets go to an Archived folder, and you can bring them back from there.
