On every move
A full review
Every number
Every amount, every wallet and every fee, shown before anything signs.
A test run
Run, not sent
Each transaction is run against the chain without being sent. If it would fail, you see why first.
Swaps checked
No more than it says
A swap’s route and test run must show it takes no more than the quote, and that your coin lands.
On sends
| Check | What it catches |
|---|---|
| First-time address | A new address, so a typo or a swapped address stands out |
| Lookalike address | An address that starts and ends like one of yours, sent from a scammer’s dust |
| Scam coin names | A coin posing as SOL, USDC, USDT or JupSOL |
| Daily limit | More than you allowed this wallet to send outside Raven in a day |
| Frozen wallet | Nothing moves out of a frozen wallet |
On private moves
Before paying Husher, Raven checks the order says exactly what was asked: the kind of order, the amount, the wallet it lands in, a deposit address that is not one of yours, a cut within Husher’s usual range, and the exchange you picked. Raven for Chrome reads each order again from Husher itself, so Raven’s server cannot swap the address to pay.
On sites (Raven for Chrome)
| Check | What it does |
|---|---|
| The safety list | Refuses a site or program known for scams, before anything runs and again when you say yes |
| Lookalike sites | Warns about a site dressed up as a real one |
| Who a program is | Names well-known programs; for others, reads their age and whether they can still be changed |
| New programs | A program under 7 days old that would move coins out asks you to type the wallet’s name |
| The test run | Shows what leaves and arrives for your wallet, including from inside other programs |
| Drain tricks | Says plainly when your wallet would be handed to a program, or a coin account given away |
| Fake messages | Refuses a “message” that is really a transaction |
| Sign-in messages | Refuses one written for a different site than the one asking |
Under the hood
- On your device
- The safety list (Phantom’s public list, read twice a day, plus Raven’s own flags) is checked on your device, so what you browse is never sent anywhere.
- A second witness
- Before signing for a site, Raven reads the chain again from Solana’s public network, so its own server is never the only witness.
- What a test run is
- A simulation: Solana runs the transaction against the current chain and reports every balance it would change, without doing it.
