What Monero hides
| On Monero | What anyone can see |
|---|---|
| The amount | Nothing: amounts are hidden |
| Who sent it | One of 16 possible signers |
| Who got it | A one-time address, used once |
Parts
You can split a Monero send into up to five parts. Each is paid by its own exchange after its own wait: right away, 5 minutes, 1 hour, 6 hours or 1 day.
Parts landing at different times from different exchanges are much harder to add back up.

Under the hood
- The same checks
- Raven places, checks and pays a Monero order exactly as it does Exchange pays, and checks each part’s share, exchange and wait too.
- Ring signatures
- Every Monero payment is signed by a ring of 16 possible senders, and nobody can tell which one really signed.
- Stealth addresses
- Each payment lands at a one-time address that only the receiver can link to its wallet.
- Hidden amounts
- Amounts are sealed with commitments: the network checks they add up without ever seeing them.
