Checks before you send
| Check | When it shows |
|---|---|
| First-time address | You have never sent to this address before |
| Lookalike address | It starts and ends like one of your wallets or saved addresses, a trick scammers use with dust |
| Scam coin names | A coin posing as SOL, USDC, USDT or JupSOL, even with lookalike letters |
| Daily limit | The send would take the wallet past its daily limit |
| Frozen | The wallet is frozen |
Under the hood
- SOL
- A System Program transfer from your wallet to the address.
- Coins
- A checked token transfer (Token or Token-2022), which states the coin and its decimals so the amount cannot be misread.
- A new holder
- If the address has never held the coin, the send also opens its coin account. That account holds a little SOL as rent, paid by your wallet and shown on the review.
